3-Speed Self-Propelled Wheeled Trimmers uses two wheel drive sprockets and chain drive for more positive traction than single wheel drive models. The geared transmission provides maximum drive for ditches, hills, dikes and irrigation canals.

15 degrees. Limited operation on slopes greater than 15 degrees is allowed.
The engines obtain lubrication from a “Splash Lube” system. There is no value to an oil
pump, in this application, as the operating angle remains the same. Engine manufacturers
recommend the splash lube system.
The line is changed by feeding it through holes in the trimmer plate and usually takes less
than 30 seconds. There are no tools needed for this job.
There are three separate gears on the transmission of the Self-Propelled Wheeled Trimmers,
and the speed ranges from 1.0 mph to 2.0 mph.
